Lake Havisu
Known as "The River", Lake Havisu is a great place to visit!
Havisu is located on the border of California and Nevada - at the end
of the Colorado River. Points of interest are the London Bridge, Copper
Canyon, and the sandbar. Bring your sunscreen and air conditioning,
because Havisu is HOT. Full resort facilities are available including
an airport, golf courses, tennis courts, casino gaming and boat tours.
Explore the various nooks and cranny's along the River and check out
the dam. Be sure to stop in Havisu City for dinner and ice cream :)

The Dam is naturally a point of interest because it is what causes
the lake here in Havisu. The Dam stops the water flow, which causes
the water to pool. Over the years it has become a huge lake for
everyone to enjoy. |

the Bend

Havisu Springs is a great alternative camping spot if you are
visiting The River. Its only about 30 minutes away and is a bit
quieter. |
